CrossFit Games Open - First workout

Workout 12.1
Complete as many reps as possible in 7 minutes of:


Burpees

This workout begins from the standing position. The Athlete will move from flat on the ground to touching an object with both hands that is 6 inches above their max reach. Score is total reps completed.


*NOTE: Yes, that is it... Burpees...for 7 minutes...yup.  Also, make sure to note that you need a target that is 6 inches above your max reach and need to touch it with both hands.  I will be doing this up agaisnt a wall (without hitting my head, I hope)

not happy about it...felt like an off day... I do think that i'm at least 10 reps better. Oh well, I do plan to try all of the Open workouts if I can

HEEELLLL YEESSS!!!!. I was not at all pleased with my results...until I saw that I beat Brian by 1! I didn't read the rules before hand, I just knew I needed to reach at something above my head. So I did this in the garage touching the ceiling. Its about an 11" jump so overall I'm pretty pleased knowing I almost doubled the jump. Then again, it was really the push ups that killed me.

60 reps

Might have been able to get 1 or 2 more, but cardio finally did not limit me...my upper body strength did.
